Dating Service Consumer Bill of Rights

New York law requires an internet dating service to put this in front of its members. We show it to everyone.

Safety awareness notification

There is no substitute for acting with caution when communicating with any stranger who wants to meet you.

Never include your last name, e-mail address, home address, phone number, place of work, or any other identifying information in your internet profile or initial e-mail messages. Stop communicating with anyone who pressures you for personal or financial information or attempts in any way to trick you into revealing it.

If you choose to have a face-to-face meeting with another member, always tell someone in your family or a friend where you are going and when you will return. Never agree to be picked up at your home. Always provide your own transportation to and from your date and meet in a public place with many people around.

Your rights as a purchaser

• Price. New York caps a social referral contract at $1,000. Our most expensive plan is far below that.
• Term. New York caps the term at two years. Our subscriptions are monthly and you can cancel at any time.
• No required extras. New York bars making an ancillary purchase a condition of the contract. Nothing on RYZZ is a condition of anything else — credits, boosts and the store are all optional and none of them gates the service you paid for.
• Cancellation. You can cancel from your account at any time, in one step, without contacting us and without being routed through a retention offer.

What we do not do

We do not promise a number of introductions, because we do not manufacture them — you see who is actually nearby and actually available. We do not sell placement in discovery, and no plan buys you a higher position beyond the boost described in how we decide who you see.
