Cookie Policy

RYZZ uses very few cookies, and none of them are for advertising.

What we set

• Session cookie. Set when you sign in, so the service knows it is you on the next request. It is HTTP-only, so scripts on the page cannot read it, and it expires. Without it you cannot stay signed in — this one is strictly necessary and cannot be turned off.

What we store in your browser, which is not a cookie

• Your encryption key, so this device can read your messages. It never leaves your browser.
• Small preferences — the last city you chose, whether cover mode is on, whether you dismissed the install prompt.

Clearing your browser data removes these. Clearing your encryption key means older messages on this device can no longer be read, because we cannot read them either.

What we do not set

No advertising cookies. No third-party trackers. No analytics that follow you to other sites. The sponsored cards free accounts see are served by us, chosen by their position in the flow, and load nothing from an ad network.

Managing them

Your browser can block or delete cookies. Blocking the session cookie will stop you signing in. Because we set no non-essential cookies, there is no consent banner to click through.
